Musical Theatre

Sing, dance & act with confidence

Step into the world of musicals and experience the joy of singing, dancing and acting together!

Imagine your child stepping into class with excitement, moving to the rhythm of their favourite show tunes and leaving each session beaming with pride. Whether they’re a seasoned performer or just love to sing, dance and act, this class is all about building confidence, having fun and developing new skills in a supportive and welcoming space.

Each week, students will:

• 🎭 Warm up like a pro – With basic movement sequences and corner work to build coordination and vocal exercises to develop pitch, breathing, and diction.
• 🎶 Sing and perform with confidence – Exploring song lyrics, harmonies, and group vocals before bringing their performance to life with blocking and basic choreography.
• 💃 Learn show-stopping moves – Mastering short routines that build into a full performance piece over the term.
• 🎭 Step into character – Using script work and improvisation to develop acting skills, explore storytelling and bring scenes to life.

No prior experience? No problem! Every child is supported at their own pace and encouraged to shine in a way that feels right for them. When they’re ready, they’ll have the chance to share what they’ve been working on with parents in the last few minutes of class. These informal opportunities are all about building confidence and celebrating progress without the pressure of a big performance.

Writing Club

Become part of a community and unleash creativity!

At Writing Club, young writers will discover the joy of expressing their ideas and bringing their stories to life. Whether it's crafting adventurous tales, writing poetry, or creating engaging information-packed reports, this class is all about helping them find their voice and share their creativity. It’s a space where writing becomes fun and students are empowered to develop their skills. Your child will bound into class each week and leave feeling inspired as they walk out the door.

In this class, students will:

• ✍️ Express ideas with confidence – Whether it's creating narratives, writing poetry, or exploring reports, they'll discover the joy of writing and learn how to share their message clearly.
• 📝 Develop essential writing skills – Writing is challenging! From generating ideas to perfecting spelling, punctuation, and structure, Writing Club helps kids build the skills they need to succeed and make writing feel less overwhelming.
• 🤝 Thrive in a supportive community – Writing feels different when you're surrounded by others who want to be there. In our safe, encouraging environment, students bounce ideas off each other and share feedback that helps them grow.

“Getting my child to write is a struggle.” Rest assured! Every writer is supported at their own pace, with a focus on enjoying the process of writing rather than striving for perfection. Your child will gain a sense of accomplishment with every step, leaving them feeling proud of their progress and excited to keep writing.

Drama

Discover the power of Drama!

Step into the world of drama and discover the power of role-play to both create and understand.

In this class, students will explore different perspectives and learn the importance of communication, listening and empathy through improvisation, drama games and collaborative scene creation. Students will engage in dynamic activities that challenge them to think quickly, collaborate and express themselves confidently. They’ll use drama techniques to express ideas, experiment with physicality and tap into the power of storytelling.

In this class, students will:

• ⚡ Explore through improvisation – Participate in drama games and exercises that develop quick thinking, creativity and teamwork, while honing communication skills
• 🏔️ Dive into characters & stories – Use improvisation and collaborative scene creation to explore different perspectives, motives and storytelling.
• 🤝 Develop empathy & teamwork – Work together to create scenes, practicing listening, reacting and collaborating as a group.

Tutoring

Literacy & Numeracy Support

Is your child in need of extra support with literacy or numeracy? Whether it's addressing learning gaps, developing key skills, or building positive learning habits, I offer one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.

Sessions are $60 per hour, with the option for small group tutoring at a reduced rate (subject to availability).
